BONSAI TECHNIQUE WORKSHOP AT NBRI FEB2017

PROGRAMME ON BONSAI  TECHNIQUES AT  N.B.R.I., LUCKNOW - FEB 2017 

A programme on BONSAI TECHNIQUES has been organised BY N.B.R.I., Lucknow at its campus w.e.f. 15th. to 17th.February 2017 and it has been  inaugurated by Dr. Bariq, Director of the institute.  48 people from various walks of life, have participated. Apart from imparting knowledge about bonsai techniques and gardening tips, participants have been made aware of  various type of plants e.g. Cycad, House plants, Orchids, Ferns, Cactus, Seasonal flower plants by senior scientists. The participants have been taken to respective Houses . Dr. R.K. ROY, Dr. K. J. Singh , Dr. Katiyar from N.B.R.I., extended their full support to enrich participant's knowledge and suggested that acquired skill may be used as hobby as well as for earning purpose.

A talk on bonsai techniques , selection of plants , preparation of soil mix , shaping and pruning etc. has been given by Guest Speaker Mrs. Santosh Arora, President, Awadh Bonsai Society, Lucknow. The Bonsai made by the participants during practical training have been  examined by Mrs. Arora on their work tables and they were given suggestions for improvements.
